Just posting to share this absolute gem I found on the net. It's a website that focuses on the Trumpet, although some of the things inside can be applied to all brass, or even all wind instruments. Sorry percs.

Now, having a good tone may already be a problem for some of us (me!), but this page can help you get a very good tone. It's very detailed, so please take a look.
