hey johnson speaking here =]. for all those who actually went to watch cadenza XI today (basically ernest brandon kirk josiah yifan and me) you'd have heard the practical standards of RGSSB (inclusive of sec4 batch this year la) and i muz admit there's this significant gap between us and them. there were really a lot of quality in them and i think i can now understand better why mr. oura always gets frustrated with us during the pracs...... i mean, if we stand in his position and look at NTU, RJCSB and RGSSB then we will realize we are lacking a lot in practical standards..... our attendace have been pretty good for this year as compared to last year (where a lot of ppl simply didnt bother and pon all the way) but prac standard will have to improve if we are to retain the Gold streak record, not to mention gettin GWH next year :D:D:D. i had also been worrying about this scary trend that SEEMS to be happening in our band: each year the seniors get a bit lousier/dont knwo how to teach properly and the sec1s taught become lousier, so as time passes by the standards drop and drop and drop.......of course, this may juz be an illusion but i'm sue everyone would agree with this concern. nonetheless, let's work hard and not let mr. oura down, he's the best we've got after all :D:D:D we need to learn to appreciate him amidst his scoldings (and insults ><).
